Let it Snow

We got our first significant snow of the season today. And just like they promised, the plowing company came and plowed the driveway even though there was only 2 or 3 inches of snow at the time.

I feel sorry for my feathered friends having to be out in this cold weather. Took a few shots of some of them in the snow.

Ever since I can remember, I have loved kitties. There's only been one time in my life that I didn't have at least one cat as a member of the family.

I have a tabby named Gary. He came to live with me in 2002 just before Thanksgiving. He's a sweetheart and the best cat in the world.

I was also adopted by a huge tom-cat whom my son named Schteve. He began coming around the yard in April of 2011 and continued to hang out nearly everyday. Finally, he decided he liked it here and made himself at home. Unfortunately, Schteve disappeared on December 16th, 2014.

When my son was little we adopted an all-white male kitty from the Animal Shelter. His name was Dipstick. He was quite a character and a member of the family for nearly 20 years.

Unfortunately, old age took it's toll and he left us on 08-07-06. I missed him so much that I made a memorial page for him:
