Thinking about photography...

I need to branch out and go somewhere else to get some more shots. Too bad I don't have a camouflage outfit I could wear so I could blend in with my surroundings and get better close-ups.

Maybe something like this:



And for Winter shots, this:



For a mere 7 grand, I could get one of these:



I'd definitely need a tripod to reduce noise and blurring from my shaking. This one's a steal at $599.00:



And of course, I'd need a telephoto lens:



I'd better start saving my pennies now. Maybe by the year 2020 I can afford the camo suit!

(Something tells me even I could take great shots with that kind of equipment. What do ya'll think?)

More Birds

This little Black-capped Chickadee looks like he's got a mouthful.



The Downy Woodpeckers are still around and I've seen them fighting over the suet cake. It's usually the females who go after the males. I don't think they like to share.

This male was being chased around and around the tree before he finally got a chance to get a nibble or two.



Seems all my feathered friends do is eat, since all the pics show them at the feeders. So, here's an American Goldfinch just sitting on a small branch...not eating!

Boy, do I feel ridiculous!

I've had such an enjoyable time watching the birds and taking pics of them with my new camera, some of which I thought were pretty good. That is until I saw these pictures.

Wow! That's all I can say.
