Once Feb 14th roles around I may no longer have a job. The store is eliminating several positions and those people will then be able to bump those of us at the bottom of the totem pole.
The only thing that may save my butt is the fact that they are all full-timers and if they push me out to take my job, they'll be lucky if they get 24 hours a week. (I'm only scheduled 21 hrs this week). They may feel they'll be better off on unemployment.
Also, once they lose their full-time positions to take a part-time job, they'll never get full-time again. Corporate seems to be doing all it can to eliminate hourly, full-time jobs.
